SPORTS AND RECREATION

We at Informatics believe that sports and recreation plays a big part in the overall development of a student. It also makes education and college life more fun. As such we encourage students to get into sports and physical fitness. We have a baketball court, a volleyball court, a table tennis room, as well as rooms for ballroom dancing. We also hold regular sportsfests and other fun activities for students to enjoy.

VARSITY BASKETBALL TEAM

One of the things we are proud of is the Informatics Valenzuela Varsity Basketball Team. We feel that we have brought together some of the finest players in Valenzuela City. Started just last 2006, the team has already proven its capabilities with the following achievements in just one year:

• 1st place - 2008-2009 Mar Morelos Inter School Basketball Cup
• 3rd place - 2008-2009 Informatics inter-campus Sportsfest
• 1st place - 2007-2008 Informatics inter-campus Sportsfest
• 1st place - 2006-2007 Informatics inter-campus Sportsfest
• 3rd place - 2006-2007 Mar Morelos Inter School Basketball Cup
