Informatics Valenzuela BRITE Communities Project Receives Awards

Informatics Valenzuela's BRITE Communities project (in partnership with the Rotary Club of Valenzuela) recently received several awards at the Rotary District Awards Night held at the Wack Wack Golf and Country Club last June 12, 2007. The Rotary District 3800 is comprised of more than 80 Rotary clubs in around 9 cities in Metro Manila. Awards were given away for outstanding people and projects of the different clubs.

The BRITE Communities project got awards for "Special Achievement Award for International Service Project in Literacy" and "Special Achievement Award for Outstanding International Cooperative Service Project". Both these awards help to affirm Informatics Valenzuela and the Rotary Club of Valenzuela's expertise and commitment in giving IT education to deserving people.

Informatics Valenzuela's Call Center Training Program called Project Hello also received an "Oustanding Vocational Service Project Award".
