Informatics Valenzuela 4th Foundation Day

Informatics Valenzuela recently celebrated its 4th Foundation Day through a multitude of activities for the students.

First up was a gaming day held on February 21, 2008 at the school grounds. Students grouped into different teams held a competition for Counterstrike network gaming. A PC Assembly contest was also held where participating students tried to assemble a complete PC unit in as little time as possible. The students who didn't join any of the two contests lined up for that day took turns playing on the Nintendo Wii brought by Informatics Valenzuela Managing Director.

February 25, 2008 saw the Informatics Valenzuela Sportsfest held at the Valenzuela Astrodome in Dalandanan. Students, again grouped into teams, competed in Basketball, Volleyball, and Badminton (singles and doubles). Fun games such as tug-of-war and sackrace were also added for students to enjoy.

The winning teams and individuals got trophies and plaques, as well as cash prizes.

The recent 4th Foundation Day celebrations highlighted not just the competitive spirit of Informatics students, but also their penchant for cooperation as each student did his/her part in making the celebration a success.
