Established in Singapore in 1983, Informatics Group is a network of training and education companies, which operates in more than 600 centers in over 40 countries spanning Asia, Europe, Africa and South America.
In 1994, INFORMATICS was named among the world's 100 Best Managed Small Companies outside the USA by Forbes Magazine. A year later, Asiamoney voted INFORMATICS as one of the Best Managed Small Companies in Singapore. In 1996, it was recognized by Singapore's International Trade Development Board for its significant contribution in exporting Singapore's brainpower to the region. In 1997, Singapore's Economic Development Board (EDB), National Productivity and Standards Board (NPSB), and Singapore International Franchise Association (SIFA) awarded INFORMATICS Franchiser of the Year for its successful franchise programs. And as proof of INFORMATICS' commitment to quality, it has been awarded the ISO 9001 certification.
Today, Informatics has the widest range of IT programs and curricula recognized worldwide by institutions in the US, UK, Singapore, Australia, Canada and New Zealand. Informatics constantly emphasizes research and development to maintain its leading edge.
Informatics courses undertake an exclusive curriculum validated by the University of Cambridge Local Examination Syndicate (UCLES), Informatics International in Singapore and National Computing Center of the United Kingdom (NCC-UK). Our courses are also recognized by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) in the Philippines.
Informatics Computer Institute Valenzuela was established December of 2003 to address the IT education needs and desires of Valenzuela City residents. Actual operations of the company started Feb. 2, 2004 at the newly constructed center along McArthur Highway in Karuhatan, Valenzuela.
The company started with 7 classrooms (3 lecture rooms and 4 computer laboratories) but has since expanded to include an additional 4 rooms and a multipurpose student lounge and library. Starting with just a handful of students, Informatics Valenzuela has since grown to support hundreds of students with an ongoing increase in enrollment.
Throughout its years of operation, Informatics Valenzuela has also become a known institution within the community. It has offered scholarships to deserving students, and has partnered with several government institutions in their different programs and projects. Informatics Valenzuela also holds regular training services for baranggays, schools, private companies, and government institutions.
Informatics Valenzuela places tremendous emphasis on using only the latest technologies that are prevalent in the IT industry today. The company regularly invests in the software needed by students. These include the latest programming languages, graphics and animation programs, as well as the most cutting edge 3D Modeling and Animation software suites.
Informatics Valenzuela also boasts of a separate department that is dedicated to Call Center Training. This department is composed of industry trainers and experienced veterans who handle communications skills training, leadership and personality development, and product training. It has also formed ties with several call centers for employment opportunities for graduates.
The company is currently undergoing rapid expansion to convert its Karuhatan Center into a full fledged College Campus. This will result in additional rooms and facilities, more course offerings, and the accommodation of even more students.
