BRITE Communities stands for Bringing IT Education to the Communities. It is a long term project entered into by Informatics Valenzuela and the Rotary Club of Valenzuela, and partially sponsored by the Rotary Club of Obu Japan. It was officially launched November 11, 2006.

The project started based on the desires and goals of both the Rotary and Informatics to provide essential training that will be of benefit to people from all walks of life. Seeing as how knowledge of computers is absolutely essential in looking for work and in the overall professional development of a person, the program will start by offering basic computer literacy courses to qualified individuals. The goal is to continuously add more advanced courses catered to specific sectors of society.

There will be one batch with 7 sections of 8 students each every 1.5 months. With this schedule the project aims to give free training to more than 400 qualified inidividuals every year.
